Who we are

TurnMe is operated by Oleksandr Vovchuk, a sole proprietor in Ukraine. When we say “we”, “us” or “TurnMe”, that's who we mean. For anything about your data, write to privacy@turnme.app. For anything else, admin@turnme.app.

If you join the waitlist

We keep the email address you type in, the time you submit it, your browser's language setting, and — if you arrived through a shared link or an ad — a short source tag so we know what worked. Submitting the form is your consent to the two emails named next to it. To stop spam, we also keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address for a short time.

We use your email for two emails only: a confirmation when you sign up, and one when TurnMe launches; if you're among the first 500 couples, the launch email includes your offer code. No newsletters. We never sell or rent your email and never use it for advertising. It is handled only by the services that run the waitlist: Supabase stores the list in Frankfurt (EU), and Resend sends the two emails.

Your email is deleted on request — reply to either email, or write to privacy@turnme.app — and no later than 30 days after the launch email is sent.

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. We count visits with PostHog (EU-hosted): anonymous events under a random id that lasts one visit, never your email. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don't count you at all. The site is hosted by Netlify, which sees your network address the way any web host does.

Once you're using the app

Using TurnMe itself means we also handle:

• Your Apple sign-in — the email Apple shares with us (it may be Apple's private relay address) and the first name Apple shares the first time you sign in, which your partner sees.
• Your anatomy answer — used to show each wish in its matching wording. Your partner's app uses it for the wishes you two exchange; no other person sees it.
• Your wishes — every wish is a card from our own library, so we store which card, the deadline you picked, its status (sent, accepted, declined, fulfilled, expired) and when. Your partner sees the wishes you send them. If you invite your partner with a wish, whoever opens your invite link in the app sees that wish's title, so send the link only to them. Your favorites are yours alone.
• Pairing — the invite code, which accounts are connected, and the couple's time zone.
• Notifications — a push token for your phone. A notification says that something happened, never what the wish says.
• Your subscription, through Apple and RevenueCat — what you're subscribed to and when it renews. Apple keeps your payment details; we never see them.
• Usage analytics (PostHog, EU), tied to your account id — what you do in the app, including which cards you use and your anatomy answer, never your email or a wish's text. PostHog works out roughly where you are (country and city) from your IP address and then discards the address itself.
• Crash reports (Sentry, EU) — what broke and on which kind of phone, under an id for the installation, never your account.

Your app data is stored on Supabase, in Frankfurt (EU).

We use this to run the app you signed up for, to keep it working and to understand how it's used. We never sell it or use it for advertising. RevenueCat and Expo (which delivers notifications) are US companies and receive only the ids and purchase or delivery data they need.

How long we keep it

App data stays while your account exists. Analytics events are kept for up to 12 months, crash reports for 90 days. Apple and RevenueCat keep the record of a purchase for as long as their own accounting rules require.

TurnMe is for adults. You must be 18 or older to join the waitlist or use the app.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, export it, or stop using it. In Ukraine this is your right under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” (No. 2297-VI), and you can complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights; in the EU, to your local data-protection authority. Email privacy@turnme.app for any of this.

How to delete your data

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. That ends your connection, removes the wishes you two shared, for both of you, and erases your favorites, your answers and your sign-in. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription; cancel that in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. For a waitlist entry, or anything else, email privacy@turnme.app and we'll remove it.
